Those are some of the most brutally oppressive prices (in Philippine money) I’ve ever seen on a toy I used to have that I want to have again, unless there’s an Opponaut who can find one for an absolute pittance—AKA much, much less than those on the blue text—and shore it up here to me, in which case I’ll thank you by giving you a 1:32 drifting Lamborghini Aventador.
[That’s not to mention the costs to bring the front wing down on a DIY run, and that I still want TEN more of these so I can repaint them and touch them up.]
Anyway, that’s my sticker-shock story for now. Now I have to wonder just how much on eBay are the other cars on my wishlist...

Even Kimi’s signature lacks fucks to give.

AUD$30 is INSANE!
i’m not surprised you’re upset.

Same thing.
But now I wonder if there are garage sales that still have loose examples.

I recall going to the Ferrari store as a youngling last time I went to Las Vegas. I recall a tiny Ferrari teddy bear was selling for 15 USD.

Well shit.
And with the rate this is going, I’ll never get any of these cheap.
Fuck bubble-making collectors. No, not that kind, the kind that prevents me from getting cheap, old toy cars.

That’s a different case entirely, man. We’re not talking about that.

Or you could take your money and buy 10 cheap cars you like and can see gaining value in the future...

I got pretty lucky on mine but I think being in the U.S. helped for once. They’re rare on the secondary marketplace for the same reason I was able to get one for a reasonable price: F1 isn’t a big deal here.
Now the Canada-only ROADRCR series that had the Spirit of Sebring Greenwood Corvette? That’s a different story. As is the Jake-livired Speed Machines C6R, which goes for $13-15 on eBay routinely.
